In the last 18 years the Monastery has developed, little by little, in its own way, and has become a Chinese-speaking community. With a good solid building completed in 1992, the monks of Shuili are now living a monastic life in the Cistercian tradition.

The monks extend their service of hospitality to retreatants. There are four retreat rooms available in the Guesthouse near the main part of the Monastery. There is also a separate Retreat Center with eight rooms

 located at the Fatima Pilgrimage Grounds a short distance away. The Church is located at the center. We extend a special welcome to those who are seeking to discern their possible religious vocation at our Monastery. Some may wish to spend an extended period of time with us in this process.
